Our lessons can be taken as a single day event, or in comprehensive classes spread over 5 or more lessons. Recipes will be presented and demonstrated from the traditions of Tuscan cooking, both country cooking and elevated styles, including the different regional dishes of the Valdichiana and of the North of Umbria.
The daily lessons are ideal for spending a nice time in the countryside, while learning the basis of our cooking. The classes are demonstrated with simplicity, but also with meticulous professionalism and attention to detail. Learn not only the individual dishes in the presentations but also pick up new cooking tips and secrets particular to the region.
Lesson Development: classes begins at 10 AM or 6 PM and last approximately 2 hours.
Each lession covers 2 antipasti, 1 first course of various different kinds of handmade pasta and how to prepare them, 1 second course, a side dish and dessert. Dinner or lunch of the prepared dishes completes the lesson. Paired wines from Tuscany and Umbria will be served during the meal.
During a complete cooking course you will review the preparation of various types of home-made pasta, a variety of types of antipasti, breads, pizza, a selection of desserts, and wine tastings paired with their appropriate foods. Also included is a visit to a local outdoor market.

1 Demonstrations, 3 Hands-on lessons, 1 Dinner with tastings of the dishes and wines chosen by the participants.
